with that cal score. thank you. >>> we're going to check in with meteorologist rob mayeda on what's going on around the world the country and the world. we're watching what happened around the coast of british columbia. much of the coast on a tsunami advisory. we're expecting for the northern california coastline, down the mendocino coastline, to eureka. we could see a quarter foot to a half foot rise here. and as is the case with events in the past, sometimes coastal harbors inland can act like a gutter to a bowling alley and funnel in that energy. the fact that we're under an advisory should tell that you the folks at the alaska center expecting wave height rises of less than a foot. this is not an outright warning but still some coastal fluctuations in sea level are possible. any time after midnight to 3:00 in the morning and very likely this will get extended down the central coast, too. so use caution. if you're out at the harbors, you could see some unexpected rises of sea level of slightly above a foot in some of the coastal inlets and bays. 50s and 60s around the bay area. not muc

that cal has ever had. >> we're talking about the traffic in the stadium how about the traffic this morning? >> it is been fairly quiet as far as accidents. we have not had any major problems so far, hopefully will stay that way. there's a look at traffic approaching the bay bridge toll plaza. the lights are on heading into the city. the good news is that on the stretch as far back as a was grant over cross. east on 80 of yourself extra time getting into the city but it is not too bad overall. the west on ride as from hayward to foster city is looking all right. in 22 minutes drive time from about to san francisco. the nimitz freeway has been picking up some slow traffic but you can see is moving less than 50 mi. an hour. it's pretty much stop and go as you consintinue southbound. it is just your typical commute traffic but drive time has actually decrease. we're down to 40 minutes as you work your way towards pleasanton. for those of the heading north on 1 01 not a san jose toward sunny hill and 280 there's just a little the slow traffic. overall still looking good. traffic in the north ba

turnouts in the country. other stratist cal facts are that we are one of the least tax states in the nation, the least stack state actually. we have no income tax, no sales tax. both the democrat and republican candidates will campaign on that issue pledging that they will not have an income tax or sales tax. our two governor candidates are running on that issue as a matter of fact. host: and talk about the recount laws that are in the state of new hampshire. is it possible that there could be a recount in this state and first of all, what are the rules for that? guest: well, we have specific rules obviously for the state. we have a fine secretary of state who is quite experienced in this. he is the person who has been keeper of the flame, if you will, for the new hampshire primary. we had a famous recount here in the late 1970's with senator john durr kin who recently passed away. frankly i don't see it coming down to that. we'll see what happens on tuesday but i think other states may be more likely to have a recount than new hampshire. host: what about voter i.d. laws, do you have them i
